What to know or do
Tell the care team the concrete barrier and ask for social-work or local practical support. If housing is unsafe, there is no food or medicine, or someone is using money to control you, say so privately.
What changes the answer
- How long the change has lasted and how it affects sleep, eating, self-care and safety
- Past diagnoses, trauma, treatment response, medicines and relapse warning signs
- Privacy, practical support, coercion, immediate danger and who can stay with you
