Direct guidance
What to know or do
A comfortably warm bath is different from sitting in a high-heat environment. Leave any heat exposure immediately if you feel hot, dizzy, faint, sick or unwell.
If an exposure already happened, it does not show by itself that harm occurred. Note when and for how long it happened and discuss the concern with your doctor or midwife.
What changes the answer
- The exact product, task, temperature, duration and ventilation
- Whether exposure is through breathing, swallowing, skin contact or injury
- Any label warning, spill, symptoms or repeated occupational-level exposure
General guidance
When to get individual help
Choose a lower-risk alternative when possible. If the exposure already happened, record the product, amount, timing and symptoms and ask for advice instead of assuming harm.
